The York Center Park District has created something out of Dr. Frankenstein’s lab and combed two of its most beloved events into one. One-part fishing derby and the other part Halloween fest that have merged into one new and exciting event. Celebrate Halloween with a pumpkin patch, hayrides and much more! Be sure to wear your most creative Halloween costume for the costume contest! Don’t miss out on an event that’s fun for the whole family and anyone interested in fishing will have two hours to catch as many fish as they can. Prizes are then awarded in a variety of categories such as heaviest fish caught, smallest fish caught, most fish caught, and best dressed costume in all age categories. All fishermen are required to register before the deadline, as registration will not take place at the event. If Knolls Park is flooded, the event will be relocated to Lake Yelenich Park.
